monday again. 1am in the morning and i've got lectures first thing in the morning. but anyway, easter sunday just passed. been a very eventful past week i must say, with all the school work and ministry work around. thank God for His guidence through it all really. i'd be a dead cow otherwise. but still.. disappointed that i prob flunked my econs. saddening.

had the juniors annual dinner thing last saturday. that's what made the whole week eventful actually. been studying so that i'd be able to go for the event. besides, i alr invited people, so it's imperative that i go. glad to announce that i've done decent amount of work though there's much more to come. had an interesting talk with james that day. remebered what syfc had taught about time management.. it's all about making the most of opportunities that come your way, and indeed, that window of opportunity was presented to me by God and solely by Him, thus i hereby give glory unto Him. really fantastic to see God's guidence through it all. shall pray that more developments are seen though.

had another talk with james no.2 today too. and really, this is what i mean when i asked what are you gna do. cuz with the windows of opportunities that God provide for you, if your not ready to defend your faith and can't even explain to a non-Christan what Christ is all about, then my dear friend, perhaps you've missed that window of opportunity cuz it's only gna be opened for a certain time. and perhaps you've just missed a chance for that person to know Christ via you, and the worst thing a friend cld say to you on the day of judgement is, ''why didn't you tell me''

truely, it requires much reflecting and thinking to say that hey, i really do understand what my faith is all about. and it's a challenge, cuz the one thing that people do not want to do, its to face their problems, especially so when it's becomed a norm to live a double standard life. it's not so much of action my fren, but more of attitude, and attitude, is the hardest thing to change. but dear friend, we are not dancing around. remember the vision and these words, ''how are we to make disciples of Christ if we ourselves are not disciples?'' simply put it, it's impossible. QED

all i can do i will do, the rest is up to you and God. pray as you will, for the rest of us will also be praying alongside with you. peace friend.

and even with the commemoration of the death and resurrection of Christ, it hasn't been the usual drift and float through the whole seemingly rituralistic process cuz it had never been a ritural before. and it prompted me to think about the question. if it's not a ritural, what is it?

definately it's much more than just a religion, cuz religion never saves. it's like what the Bible says about laws and good work in romans. never does it save, cuz a set of rules that tells you what are the right things to do never tells you how you should go about doing it. but Christianity? it's not about laws or good works or such. essentially, it's all about a relationship with Christ. and that got me thinking when people were talking about God on the cross during good friday.

i mean, Jesus Christ had the power to do anything He wanted then and there and still does until today. but it's interesting the way as He hung there for our sins... why didn't He save Himself if He had the power to do so??

many a time people say that ''i'll die for you... i'll go to the ends of the earth for you cuz i love you etc''... but how real is it? saying it at a time where your not actually going through it is easy. but imagine, you have the full power to save yourself from all the torture that Christ went through... whipping, getting nails hammered into your hand, and having your weight hang pivoted upon those 2 nails... it tears through the skin it does. having a crown of thorns pierced through your forehead under the scorching sun... thristy and all, and thrist is never understood unless one could survive without drinking for 2 or 3 days. now that's thrist.

additonal to the pain, would be the mockery, hung as a public display. it's shame beyond all human imagination. naked and hung high up on the cross... imagine? how would you feel...

but dispite all this... He still had the power to save Himself. but why didn't He! it's like drowning in a swimming pool when you could just stand up and get half your body outta the water...

disptie all the pain, all the shame... i realise that hey... this is really the extend of the price that Christ had paid for our sins...
that even though He could have summoned millions of angels to His aid,
He didn't.
But He chose to sacrifice Himself for our sins...

amazing love? impossible i say! what man would do such a thing! it's like having a machine saw through your leg slowly and you letting it saw through you for the sake of someone else although the off button is just at your fingers.

How great is God's love for us...

just some thoughts from the previous days.
