Oh buggerit. yet another failed test... this time it's GP though. i'm like flunking everything and it's getting extremely annoying. I find myself being mabo with all my ideas jumbled up together. lousy illustrations, crap eleboration and no real life examples. i really need to start reading much MUCH more widely or i'm just gonna flunk my GP test for the rest of my life. just can't find the right words, the right PHASES and the right sentence structure to make everything flow nicely.... the only thing that i had was ideas. Gah! threw in a few latin words in attempt to make things sound flowery, but i think it only served as a contrast to the crappy work i had. the GP teacher will probably be thinking that this kid has got some serious issues with language and he's trying to impress me with words that he doesn't even know what it means! ie, i've probably used the words wrongly... this happens when i start THINKING how to use the word and not when it comes naturally to me. infact, i'm like... shaping my essay around the words. hurhur.
prima facie! means at the surface, modus operandi, mode of operation, and some other latin crap which i can't rememeber. okie, so i know what it means, but it's the darn sentence structure that's gonna kill me. bummer. and i really think that GP essays should be typed written. my first GP test, which also happens to be my first GP test, had been filled with correction fluid and all the messy... writings all over the place. badddd!
oh well. otherwise, everything's been the usual catching up of homework, getting all stressed and burnt out and stuff. i mean i actually feel myself getting stupidier as the days go by from all the studying. studying isn't intellegence really. infact, you study cuz your NOT intellegent but just wanna be. so we're essentially the mass product of education. except for RJC people that is. woh.. reading their GP essays... like in every sentence they wrote, i had at least one word that i didn't know. but i eventually found out that it's just another form of the basic root word like eventual had been morphed into some other word... i forgot what though. too lazy to get my butt off the chair too.
ehh. BIO and CHEM test coming up next week... i think i'm gonna die. i anticipate myself burning out my already burnt out weekends. like last week, good friday had been church and... a mistake on my part, slacking from 3.30pm onwards. saturday... [look @ previous post] had annunal dinner which had been eventful whereas sunday is church for the whole day! ok, till 5pm anyway. but i went to play pool and captains ball last sunday. but not anymore though!! ahhh! my friends! =
so how's tml gonna be like? worship pract for both youth and main service, so that'd probably last till 1pm? not to mention that i'd have to wake up at 8 am tml just to reach there in time. admirality to upper paya lebar rd. farrrrr...
okie, then i'm supposed to go to the library for some PW research which i may not go... perhaps i'd go home and study for the test or something, but if i do go, i'd hope the research better come out with some good ideas on presentation!! usually i'd go for MM's cell from 2-4 actually... buttttttttt..........
I love IJC! can u believe that i've been taught how to say that in korean and vietnamise? propangada i tell you. in 4 languages too! oh, if your wondering, it's cuz of international friendship day and my school being so very multiracial and all, had this korean guy and a vietnamise girl teach us how to say I LOVE IJC!.. i wish
not to say that i hate IJC though. actually, i kinda like it there. good teachers, good friends... great PE. interval training.. with a better timing than my normal 2.4. i really don't have any stamina. =/
how DID you run 15km in 65km minutes?! and i wouldn't mind accompanying you to the botanic gardens actually. but i don't think your gna see this anywayy... why read my lousy english and incoherent thoughts.
i realise that my blog has increasingly turned into a reflection journel where i become really really critical of most things. or an evangelistic tool/ encouragement too hopefully. really.. i feel like slappin myself when i can't live a life that honours God to the full... i mean that's the least i can do and.. i'm not doing it. but i guess the only difference btw christians and non-christians is that although we're all still humans, but for me at least, i REALLY try and.. well, i guess the fact that your not judged for your lousy performance nor critized but am encouraged and prompted to change... yeahh. we're all humans, no one's perfect, but we all strive for perfection. question is only by what means. and NOO it doesn't make me a hypocrite ok! that's what i thought too though, but its untrue. hypocriticism is an attitude i figured out, not an action although actions would imply hints of it. aiyar.. cheem stuff la. see? Science without Arts is like a sculptor with sophicated tools but without any inspiration. that was part of my GP paper there.
and i'm still wondering why can't GP ask, ''what is love?''
wandering in the botanic gardens maybe.
