Ah. The refreshing taste of Grace! The joy derived from finally seeing something happen, something move, after 3 long years... hopelessness and desperation turns to anticipation and praise! God is doing great things and we're gonna get caught in the wave of revival! alas!
Indeed, patience is truely a virtue. How hard it is to wait on God, not to wait idly, but wait in faith through works! Trusting always, even at the darkest hour. But God is Sovereign, and He's never too late, never too early, always right on time!
Things are starting to pick up, and in more ways than I expected! Thank you Hai Chong for sharing.
Hoping that some direction will be shed pertaining to YF and camp this retreat 2007. And hoping for a new experience, an encounter as well!
Counting my blessings by the day. Today was great! Or yesterday actually.
Now, i'm aiming to achieve hopefully, a BCCA or something along there! Far fetched, but a goal to be achieved nevertheless. Maybe even a ABAA by mid term exams! =]
Food for thought, there never are problems in life, only challenges, only progression.
Another thing interesting though, realise how everything is made for a purpose? Take for example, a pen in my hands. Who made it? People of course. Manufacturers. But why did they even invent it in the first place?? What's the USE? Well, its used for writing of course! Its created for a PURPOSE, the purpose of writing.
Similiarly, if man made a pen that has a purpose to serve, then who made you??
*think!*
A Creator made you of course. Some people say their parents made them, but who made their parents? And who made their grandparents? Who made you? I'd say God made you. And me, and the rest of the known world.
And just as everything has been made with a purpose in life, just as your spectacles serves to improve your eyesight, just as a wall to support a building, and just as the most insipid useless thing that serves its aesthetic purpose... undeniably, everything DOES have a purpose, a REASON of why its was created in the first place!
In that case, whoever created you must have a purpose for you as well right?
I mean, that's the reason why even WE create anything in the first place. Cause it SERVES A PURPOSE. Everything on the earth has a purpose.
Taking that into consideration, the question to ask is, what is YOUR purpose then? Or rather, what is the purpose your Creator, the person who MADE you, has?
Your purpose in life, its always there. Its only whether we've realised it or not.
Makes sense doesn't it? Who says God doesn't make sense. Infact, the Gospel does three holistic things, it;
warms the heart
speaks the mind
activates the will
and today, it just spoke your mind hopefully! =]
Cause if you think about it...
Who MADE you anyway???
Remember purpose?
Well, would whoever made you, a Creator that actually DETERMINS your purpose, your reason for existence... can He be one that is NOT powerful? One that is fickle minded and unfaithful in His ways? One that can be swayed by human persuation?? Would YOU put your trust in THAT kinda God? Is that the kinda person you want to think made you?
That WOULD be scary, I think, to have a God that is unstable in nature.
But I know that MY God aint like that. Cause God created everything, and everything serves its perfect purpose, and everything created by God POINTS to the existence of God.

Universe - an accident?
Big bang - billions of years in space, giving birth to intellectual life? To us?
The biology of a human - a result of evolution? How does one stuff blood vessels that circulates the world 2 half times in length into a body 1.76m tall?
Creation - design? Or coincidence?
You decide.
Design would mean intellectual being creating us btw. =]
Truely, God appeals to all commonsense... its not all gribbirsh as a lot of people would think, cause religion ain't always superstitious drivel. And besides, Christianity isn't a religion. It's a relationship between me and my Creator.
So my purpose in life is pretty clear.
Plus I would think it'd be pretty sad if a PEN had found its purpose and I've hadn't.
my purpose is crystal.
