‘The waves is coming! We must paddle out to catch this wave or we’d miss it!’
… Been hearing much of these phases, from adults, leaders, youths alike.
Is it true? Or perhaps it’s simply man’s reverie derived from hoping too much. A delusion.
But in the face of such irrefutable evidence that creates a case so undeniably strong that one must curse God in the face and deny Him and His existence to say that God is not moving, even the blindest eyes will be able to see some light from the powerful manifestations that God has given to us.
A sovereign God we have! Putting the puzzle pieces of history together has proved to be wonderfully amazing that I just burst forth with joy. For the benefit of those who haven’t lost me by now, God has already started His work in our Church! That would include various congregations as windows of opportunities start to fling open, as peacemakers and reconcilers start to tear down walls of dissentions between congregations, as a common direction and an ultimate goal is worked towards by assemblies that function individually!
Is this not the work of God? Even now, I’m overjoyed to hear that Juniors, the group that faces with directional and belonging snags start to pray for MM youths! Just because a singly soul that was deemed a betrayer by his own friends that he loved so much continued to do God’s will, ignoring their accusations.
Surely this serves as a reminder for all not to judge, but more so for the wrongly accused, that they might continue in hope, joy and love overcoming all bitterness and fatigue, as Elijah did for God provided rest.
But more than that, the prayer cells that are starting, the one that Abraham started that bared much fruits, the manifestations of the Holy Spirit in MM, the stirring of the youth’s hearts, the joy derived from close friends finally being able to burst forth in tongues and tears, the conviction and the guidance God has provided, the direction of evangelism for CS congregation, the willingness of the Juniors people, the change that is so prevalent in so many people, and the ambiguous changing to a clear direction from God. The visions! Indeed, the harvest is huge but the workers are few, and if CS is to work towards evangelism, how is it that the MM harvest field that has been set 7 years ago with few workers miss their eyes? It’s a window of opportunity that God has given to us! Growth is only seen when there’s both feeding and serving. Holy huddles and holy hermits will NEVER grow.
So it is by chance that people are saying that they hunger for God and don’t know what to do? Why is it that I hear it? Why is it that I have an opportunity to speak to them? And why is it that my word has not gone forth empty? BECAUSE IT’S GOD WORKING! Not men’s words or works! Look at Yong Qiang! Look at the other youths around you. Abraham, Stephen! Is God not working?
But ignorance has blinded many eyes, and the ignorant cannot comprehend the things of the Spirit and also do not know the extent of their blindness for they themselves cannot see!
3"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye. " – Matthew 7:3-5
Break free friends! Don’t be caught up in all the trivial things that have become a culture of routine banality! Start removing your own plank, but remember to remove the speck from your brothers as well!
The wave of revival isn’t coming. It’s already here. Will you miss it out?
You already know what to do to catch this wave. Why don’t you do it? Cause God will not use an unwilling heart, and your salvation might just be on the line.
