Oh gwad. Just ended ten days worth of field camp which was quite an expeirence. A whole lot different from BMT field camp which comprised mostly of wasting time, digging thou grave and mentally rotting away. At least this field camp we got to do actual training, IFCs, navigations and all the fun and cool ambush patrol sect comd stuff. REAL training in other words. The imba summary circuit against the IDA instructors was really the most fun thing ever man! like seriously, fighting imba instructors in imba conditions where they so obviously have the initative and sometimes even the RCP and WINNING, or even losing in a imba way, is extremely fun. For everyone who doesn't know what i'm talking about, let me share.

Basically one instructor could have taken down a whole section of 7 men. But good thing we had the S factor to help us. Super funny man shew. But guess what!? We won! Ok so back to what I was saying, the summary circuit is the highlight of like the whole field camp. Kinda like a test to see your combat readiness. Apparently it was suppose to be outta our grasp and wing comd was super impressed with our fire movements which means taking cover, proning, using our section estabs properly (grends, LMGs and stuff like tt). So the section summary circuit is a 4 mission circuit whereby we are doing patrol and we get attacked by enemy instructors. But what happened is that in our planning phase, with the help of S factor (one of our instructors), we ended combing the enemy and killing them after 5 other sections failed. lol! imba. And its really imba cus THEIR instructors can shoot us 200 m away and we can't see them... i mean i should know since I was the friggin point man and the first joker to die. darn it. to think that i actually kept my eyes peeled and ended getting shot at the bend 200 m away....

ok but just to tell you some cool things, combing the area and not letting the enemy know that ure there is really fun, cus u gotta do it quietly and kill take the enemy by surprise. and flanking is pretty cool too cus i did the flank from the right! under the concealment of smoke grenades, i manage to flank the enemy to the left, but guess what, when we BOTH shot at each other... guess who died!! me damn it. -.- only because their IDA instructor was there to declare me dead whilst my instructor was overseeing the main assault force from the front. but in the end i think shew commended my courageous sucidial flanking act.

oh and talking about that, our 7 men section lost only because:
1. first man down on contact
2. I died -.-
3. the grenade that the dead instructor was lying on activated and killed 2 other when we searched the body.... (but seriously. how does a dead instructor have got time to pull his grend out, arm it and lie on it so nicely to kill us?? what are the chances huh..)

yup so we lost that when we should have won. =.=

oh and anohter cool thing is the smoke cover cus we have like millions of smoke grends. what happened is that other sections were up against 10 men section and they only had 7. so if u advance, u get shot. and u can't see the instcutors. so cool thing is that they smoked screened their position, advanced, iced and waited for any movement to shoot at. then smoked out again, proceed fwd and proned down behind cover and waited for enemy movement and te cycle repeats itself...

super cool.

ten days of field camp has also let me appreciate the little things in life too though. like home, proper hot food, a bed and stuff. upcoming field camp which is goin to be super shiong in 3 weeks apparently. phew. take this short national day break before chionging again. and i think i'm seriously injured. like my back, leg and... like everything is all cui already. lols.
but anyway, talking about appreciating stuff, the 2 altec lansing speakers blasting right now on my bro's desktop is really AWEEESSOOOMMMEEEE!!!! omg. i couldn't believe it when i first saw it. WOW man.. luxury baby.

hmm. ok i guess that's all i've got to update. Oh, one more stuff that i should thank God for. I made good friends, or found them rather, became a better person in some ways, and got cleared of all my extras by God's grace. And thank God for christian army friends to push me onwards and inspire me as well as to keep my eyes focused upon God.
